He graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in 1992 from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in the areas of Cable Communication and Telematics. He obtained his research sufficiency in 1988 (courses and articles), starting the doctoral ph. He obtained a grant of the Image Processing Group of UPM in 1992, and later he became a IPG member from 1994 to 1998. Continued his career in AVT, GFI Informatics Group, where he was involved in IT consulting and project development as senior consultant (1998-2000). He then moved to Ericsson Spain, performing mobile consulting, both technical and strategical, for Mobile Internet Solutions provided to Xfera (2000-2002). Since 2002, he develops his carreer at Telefónica Soluciones in areas related to mobility and applications for large customers of Telefónica, making diverse work within all life cycle phases of mobile products and services (business plan, service design, implementation and operation, negotiation for partnership agreements with suppliers, etc). He is ITIL v2 Service Manager since 2010. He is also part-time associate professor at the Polytechnic School of the UAM in 2003, where he collaborates with the Video Processing and Understanding Lab.
His experience includes systems applications involving the treatment and media management for both live and recorded, and mobility applications and services, based in SW installed at the mobile, browser-based or short messaging / multimedia messaging based. He has been involved in several research projects related to transmission of multimedia information (MomuSys, PAINTING, SIMM, TEMA) and numerous one in the area of mobility for large customers of Telefonica in all sectors, public and private. He was outcome assessor of OMHEGA ESPRIT 8339, during the years 1994/95.
