Foreground Script 1

Script name

Dancing cha-cha-cha

Length

3651 frames

Description

This scene shows two performers dancing and moving around all over the scene. The couple split and merge, spin (both simultaneously and at different times) and constantly occlude each other. Eventually, a third person joins them. He spins a number of times while in turn the initial couple change their positions partially occluding the new dancer.

This script is mainly intended to show:

  • Non-rigid partially textured objects interacting
  • Very complex (yet quite slow) motion
  • Large number of oclussions, splits and merges
  • Emergence of new objects in the scene.

Involved critical factors

Object textural complexity

Object structure

Uncovered extent

Object size

Largest velocity difference

Complex interactions
